Tara started The Varner Agency in late 2019, and has been a part of the insurance industry since 2008. She has been a resident of the Mid-Mo area since the start of her insurance career. She has a huge appreciation for the area and all that it has to offer her growing agency. Tara and her husband, Jamie, enjoy taking their Harley out for a ride at any given opportunity, living a healthy and active lifestyle, and loving on their fur babies, Bella & Brody! When Tara is not at the agency you can find her running her two Airbnb locations, spending time with friends and family that they have met on their travels, and sipping on the largest coffee offered from any coffee shop in sight.

HAILEY RICE

Agent and Office Manager

Hailey is an experienced insurance professional with nearly a decade in the industry, dedicated to providing personalized solutions and exceptional client service. Since joining The Varner Agency in 2021, she has focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver tailored coverage that fosters security and peace of mind. She takes pride in building strong relationships and earning the trust of the individuals and families she serves, and she is passionate about guiding them through important insurance decisions. Outside of the office, Hailey enjoys camping, spending quality time with her husband and their two children, and cheering on her favorite football teams.

AMANDA LAUFENBERG

Customer Experience Manager

Amanda started with the Varner Agency in December of 2023, bringing with her an extensive background in Customer Service. She was born and raised in Jefferson City. Amanda has a servant’s heart and is very excited to be able to serve the people of Mid-Missouri. She and her husband Nick have two children; a son, Cameron, and a daughter, Carter, who are their world. They also have a Havapoo puppy named Penny and a Shih tzu named Nova. When she’s not at work she enjoys watching Chiefs Football, playing with her children and listening to live music. She also is a frequent visitor of Branson, MO, and loves taking in all the shows while there.
